I almost forgot yesterday was February 14. :P Belated Happy Valentines Day! How was yesterday? :D Mine wasn’t a usual one since I’ve gone to a date with my family LOL. Yeah, I feel better now and we’re okay. Thank you, guys! *hugs*

I did have a good one. And I was eating a lot yesterday and felt full and didn’t eat dinner. One of the places we went to was Sbarro, which is of course one of my favorite restaurants. *drools* I absolutely love their pizza! And it even surprised me how I can finish that one big slice with no difficulty at all.

I just got back from school and I’m really tired. I want to sleep but I know I shouldn’t since I still have lots of things to do and they keep piling up every day. Our teacers keep giving us projects now that end of the semester is near. End of the semester means end of all projects, stress and hardships. I could do anything I want, learn new things and drown myself in movies and TV series.

Yesterday was my Grandfather’s Death Anniversary and the song I’m listening to just fits my mood. We went to the cemetary, bought him flowers and candles and prayed for him. We stayed at our old house where I grew up, which is my grandmother and grandfather’s house and we ate with our relatives. Staying there was nostalgic, and brought me my childhood memories back. My grandfather used to piggyback me and I can still remember the time when we almost fell on the stairs because I was a hyper granddaughter. My grandfather always rambled how crazy I was about Harry Potter because I kept watching it over and over again that I would have memorized each line. Even though he’s like that, he watched those movies with me. XD

What makes me wanna cry when I remember him is the fact that I wasn’t able to visit him on the hospital during his last days. If I would have skipped school and didn’t take the exams, I would have been there on time. Just when I was about to take my cousin with me to go to the hospital, my other grandma calmly informed me about what happened. It was really hard not to cry, but I found it embarrassing to cry in front of someone so I held my tears so bad I thought my throat was going to explode. I still feel sad when I remember that incident, even until now. But I’m sure my grandfather understood me. And he forgave me for being damn late.

Anyway, we just had an exam in our Computer Organization class and I failed miserably. I’m really stupid not to study, and yeah it was my fault so I have no one to blame but myself. There’s still Midterms, Pre-Finals and Finals so I have to make sure I could catch up!

On a side note, I freaked out when electricity was cut off while I was making this post. Hooray WordPress for automatically saving posts as drafts! YAY! :haha

Yes, as the title suggests, my grandmother passed away just this October 22, 2009, due to diabetes. Actually, she’s not my real Grandmother, though I consider her as one; she’s my late Grandfather’s brother’s wife. So we’re going to Bohol to attend her burial.

I came from school that day and was wondering why they were eating with a gloomy look on their faces. I was listening to the music then and was dancing and abuprtly stopped when my Mom said “You should stop it. Your Lola Ponsa died just this morning.” And my mouth dropped just like that.

When I was a kid, we go to Bohol every summer and would always drop by their house often. It was near the beach – which was free – so we’d always stay there for about 5 days before coming back to Cebu with a sunburn. She’s always nice to us. Everytime we went to the beach and forgot to bring something, she’d ask their helper to give it to us, whether it’d be a towel or a lunch so we could spend the whole afternoon in the beach without starving ourselves.

I haven’t gone there for quite some time now, since we moved when I was 14, so what I recently saw was her picture – and she was thin. We were even planning to staying there during summer, and now, we would go there to see her in a coffin and attend the burial, which makes me really sad.

I guess what they say is right: memories would make you sad when you remember them. The things she did for us, the watching of late night movies, the praying of the Rosary together… All those memories are rushing back to my mind and I can’t help but smile, despite of myself.

I’ll be back on November 3, since we start classes on the 4th. I’m finalizing my writing portfolio, and it’s like a joint portfolio with some other friends. If you wanna join, just drop me a comment.

Anyway, we’re celebrating today as a National Heroes Day and we have no classes again. YAY! It isn’t much to get excited for because for teachers, no classes means giving them the opportunity to give us projects and make us work on them on our free time. I’m not that bothered though because we’re almost done. I just have to finalize our diagrams and document our program for our Java project.

Today is my mom’s birthday, so I’ll be acting a good girl today. Bahaha. Yesterday was my grandmother’s birthday and I find it… unusual. I really couldn’t word out the correct term, but I guess you get what I mean. Isn’t it so coincendental? We went to Chikaan to celebrate both of their birthdays. Lately, we’ve been going there if one of our family members celerates his/her birthdays. 8D

The food was delicious and there’s a native ambience overall. Going there makes me think of the country though there are some foreigners eating there. It’s just like me wanting to eat other countries delicacies, and I think they enjoyed the food. We ordered too much food that some of the plates are jumbled in the table. I felt my stomach looks really bloated yesterday. ^.^

When it was my cousin’s birthday, we were singing her a Birthday song and the Koreans sitting next to our table sang with us. It was such a cute sight, and the staff of the restaurant brought Biko, candles, and a guitar and sang her a song. XD Biko is called sticky rice cake in English, BTW.

I woke up early today even when I slept about 3: 00 AM last night because we had to make our project. I’m pretty surprised my brain was working well even when I lack sleep. I have to stop talking about food because thinking of it makes me hungry; I have yet to eat my lunch. :P
