So last Monday, I was forced to go to school because we have to do this credit evaluation for graduating students. YAY for my Senior year! ^.^ I wasn’t really planning on going anywhere else until my classmates invited me to visit Galeon Andalucia, which is a replica of the 17th century Spanish galleon. I admit, I was expecting to see a real one but that is quite silly of me because all those woods would have been rotten by now, wouldn’t they? Hehe. It wasn’t as big as I expected but it was well worth it especially since it’s free!

It took us an hour or so to roam around the boat and took pictures of every corner and place we encounter. :D One of the things that I saw around was that little statue of Sr. Sto. Nino in the living room, which reminded me a bit of history of the Philippines during Spanish time since they were the ones who brought Christianity here, if my memory serves right. LOL.

This is us with one of the crews. I asked him to have a picture with us in our native language and he seemed to ignore me. It was then that I realized he’s a Spaniard. Haha.

And just for the LOL, I asked my friend to take a picture of this boat and the cannon as if we’re going to shoot the peaceful boat. Haha. They even took pictures with people’s butts on the sight. HAHAHA.

If you guys are wondering why I’m posting pictures when I usually don’t, it’s that I find it quite boring to place pure text on my blog and I’ve finally found a way to center pictures without ruining my valid XHTML coding. :D

It’s sembreak for us here and I’m quite enjoying it so far. After all those projects, exams, deadly deadlines, tired eyes and almost sleepless nights, I truly deserve a break. :D We even had a party in one of our subjects, which is really fun! No one got wasted because we weren’t drinking alcohol or whatnot, but they all behaved like drunkards. It was really fun getting along with everyone and just be crazy.

I bet you can’t find me with all the mess of my classmates’ faces here. :P If you still can, then kudos to you. That guy with the only beard is our awesome SRM teacher. Seeing everyone happy paints a smile on my face. What a great way to end the semester! It makes me look forward to my last semester in College. Hey, Software Engineering II, I’m coming!

This is probably one of the longest posts I’ve made. Oops. Hehe.

I didn’t really have a summer to start with. I stayed in the company’s buillding the whole summer and while they had this Summer Outing, we were only their OJTs so we’re not included. How sad, right? Haha. I wasn’t able to go to the beach and it really sucks. :(

I’m not ready for the classes yet, though I have been officially enrolled. :P I’m a regular student and apparently, I’m on a block. Block A FTW! :P The funny thing is during enrollment, I was late and when I got to school, my classmates we’re lining up on the cashier to pay the down payment. And when we went to school again to print our study load, they lined for me and when I arrived, it was our turn for the printing. It’s like they enrolled me. I wished I didn’t come, LOL, but that would make them mad or something. Haha. :P

I feel better now, if you’ve read my emotional post before this one.

I wasn’t blogging as much and haven’t changed the layout for 5 or so months. :O I’ve already made the design for Rawrbie, so all is left is for me to code it. I really really want to give this one a pretty face lift but I’ve been busy. If I’m not busy, and it still took me a while, then that means I’ve been conquered by procrastination.

I know I’m rambling random things but my mind isn’t really in a good condition. Hahaha.

Oh my gosh! Yes, oh my gosh is omona in Korean. XD I just finished taking all exams this afternoon! YAY! But 2 of our subjects have a Part 2 exam though. It’s like a to-be-continued story whose ending is still to be decided: pass or fail. Anyway, I’m happy I don’t have to study anymore and I can attend to my sites. YAY!

I don’t really want to think of my subjects and my failing grades. It’ll just get me depressed. This is the first time that I felt like I’m really hanging off a cliff and committing any more mistake is enough make me fall and give myself a hard time pulling my grades back up.

Last Sunday, we celebrated Sinulog Festival and, the day before, we went to Church to attend mass. It was raining that day and we had to walk to get there because some parts of the street were blocked. I was sure I’d get sick so when I got home, I drank lots of water to prevent having a cold. And just this Thursday, I was surprised when I suddenly had a runny nose. It’s as if the colds was deciding if he should bother me and my nose or not and then when it was our Midterms week, he decided that yes, it would be fun for him to do that. He succeeded for I was bothered the whole time we had the exams.

Since I don’t want to depend on medicine solely and since my mother always forgets to buy medicine for colds, I drank lots of water. Now that Midterms week is over, my nose felt normal. O_o It’s weird. LOL!

I’ve been interested at making money lately through blogging just for experience. And come to think of it, I joined the fanlisting world just to experience the script and ended up liking the new world so much that I was surprised of myself. XD

I’m pretty excited tomorrow too. We’d be singing Christmas songs in our presentation; it’d be embarrassing, but not as much because it’s a group presentation. :P I don’t like the fact though that we have Assembly and Political Science. -.- Anyway, we’re going to have our own Christmas party at Family Park. :P I hope I would enjoy it. I’m wondering who got my name and what he/she would give me.

I have been looking for fragrant soaps and shampoos, and by chance, I found this online shop at Multiply and their soaps look really enticing. They also have their domain; that’s where I ordered. They are just starting their business and they don’t have stalls here, so for now it’s just a pure online business. For the first time in my life, I ordered something online. :O Haha. I hope it goes well. They are Manila-based, but they also do international transactions, but the shipping may cost a little higher.

Simbang Gabi(Dawn Masses, a tradition here in the Philippines during Christmas) here has started last December 16 and I really love attending the masses. I have to wake up at 3: 30 AM and go to Mass at 4: 30 even though I have classes at 7: 30 AM. I am lacking sleep, but it’s okay since tomorrow would be the last day that I’d go to school for this year. :P YAY!

I’ve been pretty lazy lately and returning comments would really take me some time to get them done. So sorry if I still haven’t replied to your comment. :(

I was quite surprised I’m not that fully loaded on my Tuesday-Thursday classes. The only thing that made me sad because my day starts early, 7: 30 AM, and that means I have to wake up early. Classes has just started and I can still say “Oh, I still have lots of time” when I get home from school. I only have three subjects for TTH, but when things get serious, it will be kind of heavy for me.

We have a subject where we have to work with CorelDraw. I don’t know anyhting about the program, but we’ll have basic and probably advanced knowledge about it by the end of the sem. We’ll be making a magazine as our project. It sounds cool and exciting since I haven’t tried it yet, but thinking of making it along with our Database project, it seems a really serious case and we’d have sleepless nights. Hopefully we won’t have a project for our Advanced Java class, but there’s a slim chance that it’s going to happen.

Our DB 136 project requires us to know HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and My SQL. System overflow. I can’t say I’m an expert in HTML and CSS; I have just started learning them and still learning them. I haven’t even started on self-studying PHP. Blame me; I’m lazy. :P Database + Web Application Development = CROS project. Yup, that’s the name our system.

Later this day, we met with our Networking teacher. He mentioned a lot of things we have to tackle, and wrote terms I can't comprehend. The subject seems so broad, that even if I run, I still wouldn't be able to cover the whole area. And he wants us to speak English the whole time. It was our first meeting and at the same time, we had our first exam, and it was an essay type of test. We haven't even got a clue how to answer questions like "Distinguish client server and peer-to-peer network", "Identify the elements of a client server", "What is the advantage of network computing compared to a standalone computing". We haven't even started discussing but he had given us a test already. *extreme nosebleed* Again, system overflow.

System overflow means my brain can’t take all the information thrust upon it. It’s like you kept pouring water over a full glass, and where did the water go? Down the drain.

Anyway, lately I’ve been really thinking of buying a domain if I don’t stand a chance in giveaways. I barely endowed with luck, that’s the reason. :P But I’m quite confused how because our currency here is not on USD, but I’ll try to find some ways to be able to pay online, since my PayPal is still unverified. I hope my parents will allow me to have a debit card at Union Bank, since this is the only bank here in our country so far that is associated with Paypal.

For those who have Paypal, is it possible to have money with two different currencies but only one account?

And if you’re wondering, yes, even when I close my eyes, domains find their way to haunt me in my sleep. O_o

The weather’s been really cold lately; I had to wear long sleeved clothes, which I don’t usually do. Today has been raining a lot. Could it be because our former President, Cory Aquino, has just passed away? Yes, our country is mourning for her. She had been a really good president and the First Woman in the Republic. We all will miss her. She died because of cancer, which climbed into level 4. Awful, I know. I don’t know what to make of our political status right now. Some officials are just so corrupt! But ranting about it, doesn’t really help so I have no need to get stressed over it. I’m hoping it will improve somehow.

Rest in peace, dear First Lady of the Philippines. Watch over us and see our country’s progress from above.

I really need to catch up with Java right now. I’m so lucky to be able to get a hold of Netbeans even if I’m using WIndows 98. LOL!

Whatever the result, it’s all God’s plan. =) And I’ll embrace it gracefully.
