I waited for a month for me to get a hold of this since it is always out of stock. It’s definitely worth the wait though. :D I bought this from a local online seller and it saved me a lot of money! If I bought this in the mall, it would have cost me 14,000 – 16, 000 Php (about $325 – $372 USD), but I only bought this for 9,700 Php (about $225 USD). It’s a pretty good deal, right?

It doesn’t include a memory card and a case, but it’s no big deal. I can just buy those. :D There is also a user manual which I forgot to include in the photo.

It’s smaller than my hand and it just fits in my pocket. I won’t put it in there though because I tend to be careless. I initially wanted the Powershot A3200, which costs less, but I realized I loved the features of the IXUS 220 HS more, as well as its image quality.

It’s even smaller than my phone, though it’s slightly thicker. Here are some sample shots I took:

I am really happy with my new camera. I can now take HQ photos and even videos, and some creative filters, and other effects. YAY!!

I really don’t like plugging it into a power supply. It’s quite inconvenient and I couldn’t carry it anywhere. I’m glad I have something to store my movies and other stuffs too. It’s quite useful anyway now that I have my laptop.

I just discovered that WD released new colors for their passport line of external hard drives. I’m jealous. LOL. I’d buy when I run out of space to store all my files. Majority of the files I have are music, movies, Asian dramas and anime since I don’t like streaming online because I love watching them again. Heehee. Our internet is pretty slow so I just ask my classmates to download them for me. XD

Speaking of movies, I just had the courage to watch The Grudge and it’s definitely scarier than The Ring. I have The Grudge 2 and 3 here but haven’t watched them. I’m afraid I’ll be more paranoid than I already am after watching part 1. Haha.

Talking about the contest, it has finally started. You guys can start looking for the pixels around the site and e-mail me your entries. I have e-mailed all participants, so it’s unlikely you didn’t receive one. Just in case you didn’t, inform me so I could e-mail you. The e-mail was more of a reminder only though.

So, I’ve been really busy these last few weeks and I’m still busy now. The heck, I have school and have to report about Mail servers tomorrow and haven’t reviewed my report yet. Goodness! I can feel the pressure I’m handling now. :( The stress will all be forgotten once I’ve done my task. I particularly don’t like reporting because it makes me nervous and uneasy which results to being absent-mined and can’t remember what I should say in front of everyone else, especially to my instructor, who would ask questions every now and then. Someone help me. :( I really need to calm down.

I’ve been listening to my friend rant about her problems at home for more than an hour now, I guess. I just pity her and feel angry towards her aunt who’s staying at their house and keeps on giving her errands to do. It’s really annoying. We’re experiencing some problems here at home too, but I’d rather not talk about it because it makes me pull someone’s hair out of frustration.

Anyway, my dad and I shopped for computer parts last week or so and I only had the chance to blog about it now. The new computer’s done and it’s working. YAY! The first thing that came to my mind was “I can finally play DoTA!”. Hehe. We weren’t really allowed to play DoTA and now his mind has changed. It’s a gaming computer for my brothers. But they’re busier than me during school days so I can use the computer while they’re studying. LOL. I’m so evil.

I’m quite happy because my credit card’s limit has been increased, but what annoys me is that I couldn’t really use it. My aunt has borrowed money again using my credit card and now it’s kind of impaired. Meaning it’s useless to me now since she used all the credits and I, the owner, can’t use it until she pays all those money. Grrr!

I’ve found myself strolling around the malls here when I have a free time, and more often than not, I’ve went in and out of gadget shops and found things that I would love to have, yet I don’t have enough money.

One of which is a new cell phone. Since I lost my previous one last year, I’ve been using my 5-year old phone which I owned when I was still in high school. I would really love to get a touch screen phone, and it having a full keyboard is optional. The cheapest that I found is Samsung, which I don’t really like and doesn’t have WiFi.

My special friend and I went to Nokia store together and he’d mention that he’d love to have a QWERTY phone. As what I found out in my research, C3 is the phone for the youngsters since it’s a messenger phone with WiFi and full keyboard. We came to a conclusion that we’d save money and buy the same phone together.

Then I found out that C3 doesn’t have an OS and can’t do multitasking. :( I would have loved the color pink of the phone but then it’s too pink, and if I’m to use the white one, it would get dirty in my hands in no time. LOL.

Sometimes, when I’ve got nothing to do or when I’m procrastinating, I often visit Buy and Sell forums and that’s when I came across E63. It’s not a new release of Nokia, unlike C3. But I love its color, nevermind the shape of the phone – it looks chubbier and bulkier than C3. Here‘s the comparison between them if you want a more accurate information.

Anyway, I was falling for that phone, and told him. I thought he’d be disappointed but then he agreed with me, and said that he doesn’t want to regret buying C3 because it has minimal flexibility.

So, yay! E63′s price is 2000 Php more than the price of C3, but it has an OS, WiFi, 3G and more. We’d be videocalling each other just for laughs.

This is still our plan though, who knows it might change at a later date. But I’m really looking forward to it.

And yup, I'm using my laptop right now. Weeee. It doesn't have a lot of applications. My external hard drive is acting up stupid so I can't unstall programs yet since I've placed most of the installers there. I have only been using this one for building up the site that I previously mentioned. XD

We bought some cheap laptop accessories last week and I’m proud to say that I found a strpied pink mouse pad. It’s also like a picture frame since you can put a picture in it too. I was amazed myself when I examined the stuffs we bought at home. XD I want to buy a laptop skin, but they were out of stock. And a pink laptop bag would have done good, but I didn’t find one. Oh, well. I’d buy them one of these days.

I just have to stop asking things from my parents. Sometimes I feel like I’m asking too much, though, I didn’t ask for a laptop. But I admit, when I was still studying High School, I keep on visiting computer shops to see if there’s a new model or brand out in the market. XD

When we still had our car, my grandfather would drive us anywhere when we’re on vacation at Bohol. Our car is just a second-hand car and it’s not the best that you can find at stores, but I loved that car since it was a pick-up car and my father designed the back for us to sit comfortably. Every now and then our car would be repaired and it was really costly. They were saying that check engine light is on or something but I’m not sure if I understood anything, but I think it means different things, like a loose gas cap, which happens to our car frequently. I’m happy though that we didn’t experience any car accident.

I came across this auto repair site would help us maintain our car, but I’m not sure how they would do it since we’re in another country. It would probably be worth a try but seeing as our car can’t be redeemed, I can’t do anything but sit back and watch.

Anyway, this is the car that I’ve been talking about, only that its color is white. We used to ride at the back and pretend we’re playing Quidditch, trying to catch the Snitch while my grandfather was driving us. It was fun! XD Toyota Camry isn’t my dream car, but it’s my favorite Camry car. You see, I really like white cars. :P

And this is my dream car: a Volkswagen pink beetle convertible. I would love a lighter shade of pink, but it’s the best that I can find. *drools* XD If I win the lottery and get filthy rich I wouldn’t think twice of buying it, which is highly impossible since I don’t enter the lottery. If I do end up buying it, I probably wouldn’t use it. LOL! I’ll just depend on my grandmother because she plays it everyday. XD I really wish her case isn’t as serious as I think and that she won’t stay at the hospital for long. *crosses fingers*
