This is what we look like when our trainer is teaching. Everyone is so participative and eager to learn. She’s not exactly teaching in this picture, but she’s saying something about work, I guess. I didn’t really catch it since I was busy doing my thing: taking pictures. Oops.

We weren’t at all close when the training started, but we eventually knew and got acquainted with each other during the second half of the training. The get together that we had on our last day sort of made us sad because it’ll probably the last time we’ll be together. I didn’t see any of them as my competitors, but as friends.

This is the main menu of the iPhone app that we made. I was quite shaky at first since I was picked as a team leader, but we were able to finish our project in time. We had the cutest UI among all the groups. LOL. Whether I’d be picked for hiring or not, I’m glad I was able to experience this training on mobile programming. I’ll definitely continue learning more about mobile programming. We also had Android programming, but sadly, I wasn’t able to take photos of what we made.

On another topic, I went to get my overdue yearbook picture. My classmates told me I look like Gladys Reyes, a local celebrity here in our country. Haha. I really couldn’t tell the similarities, can you? I still think this picture is way edited. My face looks ghastly white! It’s a good picture of me though, since they didn’t alter my image that much. XD

Guess what? I found a new love, and surprisingly, it’s makeup! Haha. I want to be a freelance web designer/developer, and along with that, I want to be a freelance makeup artist. LMAO! I’m still getting the hang of makeup, the basics and whatnot. Personally, I don’t wear makeup wherever, except for special occasions. I just love how it can transform a person’s face and enhance their features.

Do my plans sound farfetch? LOL.

I’ve always had a crazy imagination which is probably one of the reasons why I’m paranoid over nonsense things. Hehe. Thinking of the past makes me remember my dream as a kid. I wanted to be a medical student and get to wear uniforms like these: http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/ I thought it’s really cool to wear medical scrubs. One thing that attracted me was the color white that doctors wear. XD

As I grew older, I realized that white is a disastrous uniform for me as I’m not very careful and whatnot. LOL. I also have gotten acquainted with computers which changed the route of my life. XD It’s just now that I realize that dreams, and even people, do change over time without you knowing it.

And that’s the reason why I’m here, why I want to work as an IT professional. I have other dreams aside from having a stable job. I want to be an all-purpose person. Haha.

I’ve blogged about my graduation in my previous post but didn’t include pictures, so here are they. XD

The guy in the background is also one of my close friends. He doesn’t like his picture taken and he happened to find my blog and reads my posts, but never comments. LOL.

These are the people that made my College life significant. Without them, it would have been different. We’ve been through different challenges and situations. I guess those really kept us in tact.

I have very few guy friends, but he’s one of my closest. He’s one of the very few who kept on encouraging me especially during my pre-graduation difficulties. I’m so glad I have a friend like him. He also gave me a sweet message on our retreat which triggered my to cry. *sniff sniff* Neil, I hate you! LOL JK :P

The one in the right is my boyfriend. I can tell he was really happy for me that time. He was always there for me since we knew each other. We’ve had a few fights, even the petty ones, but we’re still together. We’re each other’s first.

We went to Chikaan, a Filipino Cuisine in our country, after my graduation and took pictures before we had our orders served. XD This is the only complete family picture I could find out of the whole bunch. :P I’m really happy my father was with us during this special moment.

We had our Nihongo classes and our teacher decided to have a Japanese fine dining to complete the course. I’m not used to Japanese food so I didn’t really enjoy the food, but I do like the sushi and tempura. Too bad they don’t have ramen; it’s my favorite. My boyfriend and I go to a Japanese restaurant when we’re in the mood.

Awww. I guess we’ll just see each other on our reunion in the years to come.

Last friday, March 25, 2011, was the day when I can say “the tassel’s worth the hassle”. It’s the day when I transferred it from the left to the right. It sounds funny, or maybe my imagination is. XD It was an epic day. Very humid as well. I actually didn’t feel anything the night before, but when I was just minutes away from marching to get my diploma and medal, I felt nervous and my heart beat faster. I’ve never felt like that before and I guess it wasn’t a bad emotion. XD I was like “Is this is? I’m really graduating?” HAHA.

I’m really going to miss school, my friends, my teachers, and practically everyone. Most of the time I was there, I’ve been doing nothing but cram whenever we have exams and code. LOL. I’ve made a lot of friends as well. There are also teachers that touched my life, which I didn’t expect. I learned a lot in my last 4 years of studying and somehow, I can see a change when I compare myself 8 years ago. Aww, I’m not going to make some drama here and be teary-eyed. Haha. Let’s save it for some post later. LOL.

If you’re wondering what I was up to the last few months, I had been coding like crazy for our major project. Yes, that’s the only highlight. I was kind of sad when we didn’t do that good on our defense because it felt like all the sacrifices we made as a group wasn’t worth it. I felt like I’ve been slapped. But I was glad when our teacher said that we did good and I got a good grade. I’m not saying it’s the best grade that I got but it was more than what I expected.

A lot of things happened and I know I’ve neglected my sites. I’m gonna pull my other blog’s rank higher since it decreased from PR3 to PR2. I just have to prioritize on finding a job first and then maintain my blogs. :D The whole time I was away for the blogosphere, I kept checking my dashboard to see if there’s a new comment and whatnot but I just didn’t have the time to blog. I bloghopped at times silently. LOL.

I’ve ranted enough so yeah, I’m gonna sleep now. XD

A lot of things happened to me last week, and they were quite significant. To start off, we, my family and I, visited the Blessed Virgin Mary in Simala. I’m not really sure if it was my first time going there, but I remember when I was in High School, we went there as part of our field trip. Judging by my crappy ability to remember things correctly, I can’t say that’s entirely true.

I just love the view. I was in awe when I saw this. People were taking pictures everywhere and it kind of irritated me that whenever I want to take a picture, there’s always someone in the way who’s posing for their own camera. We just went there to pay a visit and pray. It was a very solemn experience.

She does look stunning, right? I’m not here to catechize people about my religion, JSYK. If you don’t like stuffs like this, just scroll down below. :P

We also passed by a wishing well. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take a picture because lots of people were throwing coins to it; I just can’t shove them away. LOL. I enjoyed throwing coins too, though. On our way home, we saw this turtle in an aquarium.

I instantly remembered my boyfriend as soon I saw it since I always call him “Pawikan”, which means sea turtle in English. LMAO! Haha.

So yeah, I had a good weekend, but you know what greeted me the next day? My pet, Sipat, deposited his shit on my workplace. WTF? I was so furious, so was my father. Poo was everywhere and it stinked REAL BAD! Well, what can I expect? It really made me want to throw up. What made me angier is that it was beside my frigging laptop! I really would have killed him if he did it ON my laptop! Thank goodness only the wires had shit on them. I had to clean them repeatedly, soak them with soap and sprayed perfume all over.

Thankfully, the smell went away and I can now work with peace. Not as peaceful as you might think because I have loads of stuffs to do. It’s already February and that means Defense day is approaching fast and we’re still struggling with our project. Our UI is almost done though. Hehe. Soon, it’ll be March, and we’ll be officially unemployed. LOL.

Those are my yearbooks in Elementary and High School. I’m not sure if we’ll have one for College since we don’t have those picture taking moments unlike my batchmates in other schools. I envy them. :( I really wish we’d have graduation and yearbook pictures, as well as graduation ball. Curious as to what I look like years ago? Haha.

I was 12 in that black and white yearbook and the other one is obviously my High School picture. LOL. Official college yearbook picture is about to come, hopefully. *fingers crossed*

I was happy to accomplish or learn 3 new dishes last night. ^-^ I don’t usually stay in the kitchen but I kind of felt bad to leave my mom alone with a number of dishes to prepare. I can say that cooking is pretty easy. What can make or break a dish is of course its taste, so you have to be a good taster as well. Haha. Aside from that, I almost went crazy with this pear shaped ham because both my mom and didn’t know how to cook it. We put it in the oven along with its sauce and gladly, it turned out to be well-cooked and delicious. LOL.

My mom insisted on a solo picture but my brother keeps on butting in. LOL. Our table is always overflowing with food during New Year. I’m really thankful to God for it because it’s one of the signs that we are living well and He has given us many blessings throughout the years. I’m really glad to be living here and breathing with joy and health.

My dad couldn’t make it so our holiday kinda incomplete without him. :( But he’ll be back here next week, so yay! I already miss my father.

It was hard to take a decent picture because my brother was holding my arm and the other one is giving himself a piggyback. LOL. It’s amazing we didn’t have childing fights these last few weeks. LOL.

I realized that I’m really lucky to be here in this world and I just hope that 2011 will be a fruitful, joyful, and bountiful year for all of us. Of course there are bad experiences and moments with 2010 but I’ll leave them behind and get on with 2011 with optimism. And with that, I leave you with these photos for your viewing pleasure. How was your Christmas? Mine turned out pretty well even though it’s quite simple. I spent it with my family, though it’s not that merry because my father wasn’t with us, and will not be with us until New Year, which makes the holiday a little less merry. But anyway, I had a pretty good one. We didn’t have lots of food on our table since my Mom would only have it overflowing when it’s New Year. I hope I’ll be able to learn a new dish for the New Year. YAY! I’d like to share some photos with you, guys.

My cousin keeps bringing our kitten, Goldy, with her in almost every picture. She even brings him(yeah, I know, his name is a little too girly for his gender. His name used to be Cutie until we found out he’s not a female. LOL) with her in bed and sleeps with him. Haha. Please don’t mind my brother’s haggard face.

After we’ve opened our gifts, look who’s looking for his. Haha. I bought him and Goldy some cat foods when I usually don’t and didn’t wrap it. LOL. But looks like he wants a wrapped present. Caught in the act. XD

Our pets always make me smile. They brigthen up my day and of course they are part of our family.

Look what’s keeping me busy this holiday:

We’re supposed to finish it some time around January according to the schedule we plotted, but we’re very far from finishing it, we’re not even done half of the whole lot of it. Urgh. We’ used to use C#, but we aren’t familiar of the language and we’re forced to retreat and use Java. LOL. When we used C#, our pace was slower than a snail’s pace. By the time March comes, we’ll all be forced to finish this. Right now, I’m dreading our defense for the project.

Anyway, I’ve been learning Nihongo since last month, not because I’m that interested in it, but because it’s one of the free electives that we have to take. Haha. So far so good and exams will greet us as soon as classes resume next year. I can understand and speak a bit of Japanese already, as well as read Hiragana characters. I have yet to learn Katakana.

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I finally went to buy the E63 that we planned since July/August. Yay! My mom went with us so we could get a discount. We only bought it for P8,550.00 where it’s normally priced at P9,090.00. I’m so happy with my phone. I’m so glad there’s still a stock for the white one since I’m in love with its color. Haha. And yep, obviously, my boyfriend’s E63 is black.

I bought this little device yesterday as well, because the USB cable isn’t included in the E63 package. I hate dealing with wires so I opted for this one. The downside is that I can only send one file at a time from my cellphone to my computer. I sort of regret buying it when I could have just bought a micro SD adaptor since my laptop has a card reader. Bad move. But I’m trying to find a way to make this work to my advantage. I was annoyed at the sales lady who gave me the red one when I wanted the black one and she kept on saying it wasn’t compatible with Windows 7 just because the sticker wasn’t there. WTF?

Anyway, my boyfriend and I went shopping this afternoon. LOL. We bought each other early Christmas gifts and he gave me two pairs of footwear. Yay! I got him two shirts as well. We had lunch at Sbarro, my favorite Italian restaurant, which stuffed my tummy and made me feel so bloated. Haha.

I’m just so glad that classes are temporarily over, though I won’t be that free in this short break as we have to make our Software Engineering project. I’ll be making a new theme for Rawrbie. I just hope I procrastination won’t hostage me so it’ll be up next week.

My cousin finally moved to a new room, which is supposed to be my siblings’ room but they weren’t occupying it and my father had sorted things out, so my room is a lot cleaner now. I practically moved everything and I wasn’t expecting that my room was that dusty. I think I’m a bit allergic to dust since I’ve always noticed that I sneeze, have a runny nose or get colds after encountering a lot of dust.

I’ve always been fond of stuffed toys since I was a little kid. I left some of them in our old house and my aunt claimed them as hers which is really annoying. >.< I've kept these in my room and I have always have a stuffed toy beside me when I sleep. She's quite cute too, though she's not in the picture because she needs some washing. :P

I still haven’t found my Harry Potter books. :( I remember I hadn’t finished reading Quidditch Through The Ages and I don’t know where it is. Some of my books were borrowed by my High school friends and I haven’t seen most of them since we graduated and parted ways. LOL. One of the books that is more effective than a sleeping pill is my File Organization book. I really have little interest in that subject. It is too boring.

I’ve been wanting to buy a dSLR because of its amazing focus. I love its effects on lights and leaves; it gives you a bokeh texture or something, which I’m really fond of. I realized I’m not that into photography so I’d maybe settle for digital cameras for now. Heehee.

I’m quite frustrated at C#, Visual Studio and with myself right now. Everything is so new to me that I can’t even make simple commands like disposing a canvas/frame work, which I’m familiar of when I was still using Netbeans for Java.

I woke up early because I had to try this withdrawal thing from Paypal to EON early in the morning since I’ve read that if you withdraw early, your request will be processed faster. I’m not sure if that’s true though. I was just in a hurry to receive the money, which turns out to be a wrong move. My name in Paypal and in my bank account should match; I read this just after I submitted the request. I did a research about it after I clicked the little confirmation button, which was stupid.

All I can do now is wait for the processing to be done and in case it’ll be rejected, I’d just hope that the money will be returned to my account. Waiting is really painful, it’s like prolonging my agony. Urgh. Withdrawing for the first time is really a pain in the arse. I don't care about the P250 return fee charge as long as my P5,000 will go back to my account. T__T

Anyway, I was so appalled about it and didn’t notice the time. I was supposed to go to the mall and buy a gift wrap for my gift, but it was too late and I gave my boyfriend his gift along with my letter without a wrap. Thankfully, he liked my gift. Hehe. It took me a while to think about surprising him, and giving him a customized t-shirt with his favorite character in Touhou, which he frequently plays. :P I don’t draw much and giving him one of my drawings seems silly since he draws very well and I just suck at it. But he liked my drawing nevertheless. Haha. :P

At the end of the day, we watched Harry Potter, hence the relevance of the title. :P I don’t have a favorite spell because almost all of them are amazing, but I find Morsmordre really cool. I’m so sad that the series will end next year(I’m still glad there is part 2). Technically, it ended when Book 7 came out. I wish there would be a TV series for it so everything will be so detailed. :P

I love collecting stickers which explains why I have a lot of them in my Harry Potter collection. I remember buying this expensive sticker album where I have to buy the stickers separately. I haven’t completed it and I forgot where I placed it, along with my books. I just hope that they’re just in my grandma’s room or in my room. I will definitely clean and decorate my room after my cousin moves to a new one.

I know I’ve babbled more than usual and I guess this makes up for not blogging for about 2 weeks since my last post.
