Pixels, Pages, And Oh, Prizes

Edit: I’ve extended the contest since I’ll be busy during the entire week I’m supposed to do it. It’ll be a belated celebration for the domain. You guys can still join until September 5! ^_^

Yup, I’m holding a little contest right here to celebrte my soon-to-be one year old domain. :P

Mechanics:

On September 6, 2010 at 9 PM GMT +8, I will post 10 images around the site which would link to certain pages. All you have to do is e-mail me the names of the pixels and its corresponding content. I will accept entries until Sept. 10 at 11 PM GMT +8 so you have four days to do it. :)

If you’re one of the first three who got all ten correctly, then you win one of the 3 major prizes including a .info domain with a name of your choice, which can be pushed to your Namecheap account if you wish to. The remaining correct entries who didn’t get into the first three will be drawn randomly by name with the help of Random.org.

Prizes

1st prize: .info domain, a WordPress theme made by me, and a domain hosting by Marina
2nd prize: .info domain and a WordPress theme made by Erin, and spotlight position in my site for two months
3rd .info domain and a non-Wordpress theme made by Erin

Consolation Prizes

1st: .info domain by Erin
2nd: hosting by Jana and 2 weeks plug in my site

All sponsors will have a place in my Spotlight for 2 months as well. :) If you want to sponsor this contest, just send me an email to contest[@]rawrbie[dot]com with the subject “Contest Sponsor”. x3

I will announce the winners on Sept. 11 at 10 PM GMT +8, through this blog and through e-mail. :)

On Joining:

1. Link to this post in your site on every page, using one of the images below. It doesn’t matter where as long as it’s visible. :)


2. Follow me on Twitter(@senyth) and tweet this entry. Just make sure you @reply me so I could see it easily. :)

3. Comment on this entry saying you want to join, along with your e-mail address, website and twitter username.

4. I will send you a confirmation e-mail telling you that you’re officially one of the participants of this contest.

On Submitting:

1. E-mail me at contest@rawrbie.com with the subject Contest Entry.

2. Format of the body should be: Name of the image/pixel – Content. E.g., you found a strawberry pixel on a certain page here, and when you clicked the link, it led to a page saying “Senyth loves strawberries”. Your submission would look like: Strawberry – Senyth loves strawberries. Don’t forget to post all 10 of them. :)

To wrap everything up, I will only accept participants until September 5 at 11 PM GMT +8. And on September 6, the contest will officially start and you can start e-mailing me your entries. Contest will end on September 10 and I’ll announce the winners the next day.

You are, of course, free to express your opinions and suggestions. Don’t hesitate to ask me if you’ve got some questions as I might have missed some points. :)

OO. Sounds interesting :) I might actually join. Hopefully though, I won’t forget when this is happening. Especially that its almost the end of summer and I want to do almost anything to spend that last summer outside the house!

My lettuces did grow big! I didn’t even know that they would grow that tall! I’ve always been a neat freak. I just can’t help it! LOL. But I do it especially when I think that I lost something, so I always end up cleaning anyways.
